Mitch Ribar is a seasoned leader with over a decade of expertise in artificial intelligence, data, and performance marketing. Currently the Head of Customer Engagement at Optus, Mitch is known for steering innovative initiatives that both enhance customer experiences and drive business growth. His thought leadership spans commercialisation of artificial intelligence and data, as well as digital product management and technology strategy.
Having recently commenced his current role at Optus, Mitch focuses on fostering lasting customer relationships and overseeing personalisation capabilities to enable effective communication throughout the customer lifecycle. Previously, he served as the Head of Data & Digital Identity Transformation at Optus.
Mitch's career includes key roles at Quantium in Sydney, Australia, JPMorgan Chase & Co. and Brand Networks, a venture backed start-up, both in New York, USA. Notably, he held various Executive Director roles at JPMorgan Chase & Co., including Head of Marketing Platforms where he led the program to deliver AI optimisation of digital marketing campaigns for approx. 100M Chase customers.
Mitch holds an MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management where he focused on machine learning and competitive strategy, and a Bachelor of Information Technology Co-Op from the University of Technology Sydney.
