Silent Network Authentication (SNA) offers a low-friction, high-security way to verify users—but it’s most effective when combined with real-time phone intelligence. Each year, around 37 million U.S. phone numbers are reassigned, creating risks like unintended account access and fraud. In this talk, we’ll share how Plaid enhances authentication by pairing SNA with Lookup Reassigned Number checks.
