Dan Kjosa is a Product Development Manager at The UPS Store, Inc., where he leads innovation across a diverse portfolio of in-store services designed to elevate the customer experience and drive operational excellence across a franchise network of over 5,400 locations.  With 17 years of experience at UPS, and roots that stretch back even further, helping his parents operate 2 The UPS Store locations in Riverview, Florida, Dan brings a rare blend of frontline insight and corporate strategy to every initiative he leads.
Dan began his UPS career in 2008 as a part-time package loader in Tampa, Florida.  He quickly advanced through roles of increasing responsibility, including part-time supervisor and operations management specialist, where he led a team of drivers serving the Tampa Bay area.  In 2017, he joined The UPS Store as an Audit Specialist.  A year later, he was promoted to Purchasing Supervisor, where he successfully implemented electronic data interchange (EDI) to streamline the order processing cycle.  Later that same year, as Accounting Supervisor, he introduced process improvements that reduced the month-end close by a full day.
Since 2020, Dan has spearheaded the development and national rollout of some of The UPS Store’s most impactful service enhancements.  These include the Time-Saving Kiosk, a self-service platform that accelerates common transactions and boosts staffing efficiency, and Happy Returns at The UPS Store, which delivers a seamless, box-free, label-free return experience for both merchants and consumers.
Dan holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of South Florida.  Known for his strategic mindset, deep customer insight, and results driven approach, Dan continues to deliver forward thinking solutions that empower small business owners, support franchisee growth, and enhance the customer experience, strengthening The UPS Store’s position as a leader in retail innovation.
