Orchestration patterns: When email should lead vs. follow
Email and messaging aren’t interchangeable—and the best customer experiences don’t pick one channel, they orchestrate across them.
In this session, we’ll share a practical decision framework for pairing email with SMS/WhatsApp based on urgency, user context, cost, deliverability, and regulatory constraints. You’ll learn repeatable and proven “handoff patterns” teams use to create fast, reliable journeys without spamming users or increasing support load.
We’ll walk through real-world scenarios—security alerts, receipts, onboarding, servicing updates—and show how to design channel roles (lead versus follow), build escalation and fallback logic, and standardize governance so multiple teams can ship consistent experiences at scale.

Zero to dial-In: Building a pro-grade Twitch phone line with Twilio SIP
Every streamer wants to take live calls, but nobody wants to deal with the jank. Holding a phone up to a mic or routing browser audio through virtual cables is not a real broadcast solution. In this practical live-coding session, learn how to use the Twilio SIP Interface to create a dedicated broadcast phone line that routes high-fidelity, uncompressed audio directly into OBS, just like a professional studio input. Then, time permitting, we’ll add an AI Producer sidecar using Twilio Media Streams and a minimal Bun server to screen callers and generate live overlays showing who’s calling and why before you hit Accept.
