In this hands-on workshop, attendees will build a real conversational AI voice application from scratch using their own laptop.

Using a provided GitHub starter repo and setup guide, participants will build a live conversational voice application powered by Twilio’s ConversationRelay. ConversationRelay connects a real Twilio voice call to your AI logic over a WebSocket, handling speech-to-text, text-to-speech, session orchestration, and low-latency voice streaming so you don’t have to build all the plumbing yourself.

By the end of the workshop, you’ll have a working voice AI bot and a reusable project you can customize for support bots, assistants, or creative voice experiences.
