Otávio leads Twilio’s SMS and RCS product team. Since 2019, he has launched and scaled global messaging channels – including WhatsApp and Apple Messages for Business – facilitating billions of messages worldwide. Bringing 15+ years of product leadership experience, Otávio previously served as Founder/CEO and Head of Product for startups spanning seed to growth stages, after beginning his career in private equity. Originally from São Paulo and currently based in San Jose, he holds two patents and earned both a BS and an MS from UCLA.
