Twilio
Hi, I’m Darragh. My path to tech wasn’t exactly a straight line. I started out pursuing a PhD in Roman Art and Culture, which might seem a world away from APIs, but it taught me how to look at massive, complex systems through the lens of structure, scale, and the people they were built for.
I’ve spent a large chunk of my career here at Twilio, building a foundation in security while obsessing over how we can make our products better through our docs. For me, there is a real joy in diving into our stack to solve "fun" problems. The kind that require both a builder’s grit and a historian’s eye for the tiny details that others might miss.
Whether I’m streamlining a messy process, fixing an older doc or exploring the "what-ifs" of customer engagement, I’m driven by the gap between a big idea and its technical execution. I’m a big believer in staying curious and growing together.
If you want to talk about the future of communication, a tricky technical build, or why the art of Augustus still matters in 2026! Let’s chat.
