Renshi Bao is the Senior Engineering Manager for Identity and Access Management at Grab. Since 2018, he has been working on to build a secure, scalable identity platform supporting hundreds of millions of users across passenger, driver, merchant, and partner domains.
At Grab, he leads the team responsible for a bank‑grade, multi‑agent identity platform adopted across Southeast Asia, delivered passwordless authentication with FIDO2 passkeys to improve security and user experience. His work also includes building a comprehensive, centralized toll‑fraud prevention framework to protect phone‑OTP flows across the Grab ecosystem,  and driving large‑scale identity consolidation across acquisitions.
