Cassie Stelow serves as Director of Information Technology at the Pacific Disaster Center (PDC), where she leads the development and modernization of DisasterAWARE®, PDC’s global early warning and advanced analytics platform used by governments, humanitarian organizations, and disaster management agencies worldwide. In her role, she oversees the integration of authoritative hazard data, geospatial analytics, and real-time alerting capabilities that deliver critical early warning messages to decision-makers and at-risk communities, enabling faster, more informed action before, during, and after disasters.Cassie holds a Master of Science in Geospatial Information Science and Technology from North Carolina State University and more than a decade of experience advancing data-driven solutions for disaster risk reduction to strengthening resilience through innovative applications of science, spatial analysis, and technology.
