Amy Holcroft is Twilio Inc.’s Chief Privacy Officer, a leading cloud communications platform as a service company. In this role, Amy oversees an international team of attorneys and compliance professionals managing Twilio’s global privacy compliance program and leading support for Twilio’s security, AI and data GRC strategies and programs.
Amy has deep expertise and a proven track record of developing and managing privacy, AI and data compliance programs in the tech sector. Prior to joining Twilio she was the Chief Privacy Officer - VP of Privacy and Information Governance for Hewlett Packard Enterprise and led the establishment of HPE’s AI ethics program. During her prior tenure with HP Inc., Amy served as the company’s EMEA and Global Privacy Counsel. She led the company’s application for Binding Corporate Rules for Controller and Processor with the French Regulator and the establishment of parallel privacy programs as part of HP Inc.’s corporate separation in 2015.

Amy is a UK qualified solicitor who practiced in corporate M&A and commercial law before specializing in privacy law over 20 years ago. Amy is also a certified member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
Amy currently serves as a Trustee for two UK based charities: the Sir Halley Stewart Trust and Educating Kids Outdoors.
Amy has a BA Honours degree in Geography from University College London and postgraduate diplomas in law. She lives in the UK with her husband and two sons, and enjoys yoga, pilates, gardening and beekeeping in her spare time.
