Stephanie is the CEO of Switchboard, the National LGBTQIA+ support line. Her career in the not-for-profit sector spans 20 years and began as a community fundraiser. This was the start of a journey that would lead to her holding leadership positions at multiple charities with a wide range of causes.

Since 2021, she has established Switchboard as the nationally recognised listening service to the LGBTQIA+ community. Building nationwide partnerships with major brands and strategic sector partnerships. Providing space for around 17,000 conversations each year. Switchboard now shares its reach and impact through a data-driven annual impact report, which is a crucial resource for funders, policy and decision-makers.

In 2025, she was a key speaker at a number 10 Downing Street, addressing the Prime Minister directly on the impact of the Supreme Court ruling on service users and the national need for Switchboard.
Stephanie has appeared in the Diva Power List in 2023 and 2024 and the Pride Power List in 2023, 2024 and 2026.
