Leading the Future
Wednesday, August 14, 2024, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM

The future happens for some, but it is strategically created by others.  In the past, when things moved slowly, the future was something predictable and allowed for linear planning, today the situation is completely the opposite — the accelerated pace of change makes the future opaque and increasingly less linear or predictable, requiring appropriate techniques not just to visualize scenarios, but to choose and create the futures that benefit us the most. This lecture discusses futurism and its importance, bringing simple techniques that can be applied by any individual to expand their power to see and create futures.
