Dr. Christopher Swenson is an architect and principal engineer at Twilio. Prior to Twilio, he's worked as an engineer at Google and Simple, and as a code breaker, computer scientist, mathematician, and supercomputer programmer for the US Government. He holds a Ph.D in computer science from The University of Tulsa and has authored the book Modern Cryptanalysis.

AI for Colossal Cave Adventure

Colossal Cave (Adventure) is the original text adventure, written in FORTRAN IV. We explore the program using software archaeology and run the original code with a Python interpreter for FORTRAN. We can then use the Understand Team’s Assistant API to build a natural language layer, allowing a player to play the game using standard spoken English.
