Des Hartman is a Solutions Acceleration Architect at Twilio focussed on customers in the APJ region where he partners with customers on high-impact pilots to accelerate time-to-value. Previously, he spent four years as a Solutions Architect within Twilio, designing scalable enterprise applications built on Twilio.

Based in Sydney, Australia, Des works with key strategic enterprise customers, developing and driving innovative solutions utilising Twilio products and services. His extensive international experience across telecommunications, payments, voice AI and enterprise sectors has equipped him with the expertise to craft leading edge and bespoke solutions tailored to unique needs across local & diverse international markets.

Prior to Twilio, Des held various roles at Telecommunications companies including Telstra, Metaswitch, Siemens and Alcaltel, along with roles in smaller niche players such as SecureCo and IVSTel.

Outside of work Des has always maintained a “curious technology” outlook, playing around with concepts and code and loves “vibe architecting” interesting new solutions.
